The Unfors Mult-O-Meter mammography dose sensor is as standard calibrated at 28 kV, Mo target and 30 μm Mo tube filter. Due to the sensor energy dependence, the use of correction
factors are required for accurate measurements at different spectra and for HVL calculations.
An application note which contains correction factors for air kerma for W/Rh and W/Ag beam qualities is now available for download.

Unfors MAM X-ray System 20
Unfors MAM X-ray System 20 offers a cost effective and rapid way of checking all types of mammographic equipment. The pocket sized instrument is extremely easy to use and gives the user a simplicity that makes measurements a breeze. Just position the sensor in the X-ray beam and make an exposure to read multi-parameter measurements. The external dose detector is very small and can easily be positioned in the cassette or attached to a phantom. With the Unfors DAQ-10 software you easily make reports directly in Excel.
