Basic troubleshooting before sending the instrument to Unfors Service Department
Please perform the following checks before shipping your instruments to us!
- Please check the battery condition.
- Does the instrument turn on? Reset the instrument and check the instrument’s settings.
- If other equipment, cables or detectors are being used with the instrument, make sure they are connected properly. If possible, try another cable, detector or accessory in order to define a potential problem.
- If the problem is thought to be due to firmware compatibility, please contact Unfors Technical Support.
- Is the performed measurement result as expected and within the specifications and capabilities of the instrument?
- If you are not satisfied with your measurement result, try to do same measurement with another instrument with same specification or same capability in order to compare the results.
- Review the procedure for the measurement being performed when the problem appeared. Are all the settings correct? If these tips couldn’t solve your problem please contact Unfors Technical Support before your instrument is shipped to Unfors Service Department.
